An Uncommon Dinner on Whalen Commons was a great success! The weather was perfect and the cocktails and dinner from Geppetto’s were delicious!! Local Singer/Songwriter Emily Mitchell entertained us with her lovely folk songs during cocktails and our renowned local band Justin Trawick and the Common Good inspired some of us to dance after dinner. We thank the town, Town Event Coordinator Cathy Bubb and her committee, and HMD members who worked on planning this wonderful event. 128 tickets were sold which will help HMD maintain and preserve the Town’s iconic Old Town Hall, the John Poole House and Store, and the Seneca School House.
Again–A special thank you to the Town of Poolesville for hosting this evening to remember.
